Honestly this problem is so close for me. This common phrase like "What about my..." betrays you so native speaker understant that you are a tourist. "In terms of this issue", "In my opinion" are substitutes which are much better. They sound pleasent like a melody. I will keep this in mind for being a russian shpion:) Thank you! We all tend to make mistakes when we try to talk about something serious. Very often we repeat the same phrase to express our point of view. But these phrases are so annoying for the opponent.
